I/we give permission for the children in my care to participate in the activities booked. I acknowledge that there may be some risk involved.
All childcare sessions are a minimum of 4 hours during the day and 3 hours during the evening. During peak holiday seasons all shifts are subject to a 4 hour minimum.
A payment of 25% is required upon booking your reservation. The childcare provider is to be paid the remaining balance in cash (Canadian dollars), at the end of each session. Gratuities are not included
There will be no exchange rate provided if paying in American dollars.
Double Rates apply Christmas Eve/Day, New Years Eve/Day.
All Canadian Statutory Holidays & Valentines Day incur a 50% rate increase.
All bookings finishing after 12 midnight incur a $15.00 travel fee.
Any repeat bookings are to be made with Babysitting Whistler/Tofino. Our sitters and our parents are not insured if they work outside of Babysitting Whistler. This will also result in the termination of the sitters contract and your use of our service in the future.
Babysitting Whistler’s insurance covers only appointments made through our office. The childcare provider is not allowed to drive children, take them skiing, snowboarding or Mountain biking through Whistler Backcomb Resort.
I understand that the babysitter is an independent contractor working for Babysitting Whistler Agency.
Your sitters primary role is to care for your children. This includes indoor and outdoor playtime, preparing meals, changing diapers, putting kids to bed, etc. Your sitter will tidy up from the activities they engage your children in during the service. Anything extra is at the discretion of your sitter.
Any electronic streaming/recording devices must be communicated to your childcare provider.
You must inform the agency of any reservation alterations or concerns within 24 hrs prior to commencement of services. Changes to bookings with less than 24 hours notice are made solely at the discretion of Babysitting Whistler.
If cancelling within 24 hrs of the service the minimum booking fee ( 3 or 4 hr service) will be charged to the credit card provided
In case of any medical emergency, I the parent/guardian authorize the babysitter who’s care my children have been trusted, consent to medical emergency treatment that must be rendered. This treatment being rendered under supervision and advice of any emergency medical person or physician in the event that I can not be contacted. Any expenses incurred during treatment are my responsibility.
I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS AGREEMENT, AND AM AWARE THAT BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT I hereby release and agree to hold harmless Babysitting Whistler/Tofino, their successors, assigns, agents, and affiliates from loss of damage to property or injury to persons including myself and those whom I am parent or guardian to.
